Vision Source is a family of over 3,300 locally owned optometric practices collaborating to provide quality professional eye care while maintaining the personal relationship between patients and their family eye doctor. Looking to source a team to create a video centered around Myopia and their mission to introduce patients to Ortho-k technology, they chose Ambient and after some careful negotiating, they flew out a couple members of the Vision Source C-level team to be a part of the production. Shooting at the Paragon Vision Sciences headquarters, Ambient spent one day prepping the production for a jam-packed production schedule the following day. On the day of production, we utilized young talent as well as the piece was focused on introducing children with Myopia to Ortho-k and we chose to go with a moody vibe that felt dramatic and conveyed the seriousness of nearsightedness. The aim being to grab the parent’s attention and educate them to consider their child’s safety concerning eyecare. After the principal shooting, we ended the day shooting interviews with the Vision Source crew and before you know it, we were headed back to the post house to cut together the final deliverable. After some typical rounds of revisions, we rendered a final cut complete with all the bells and whistles for Vision Source to use as they please.
