THE ASK  

Provide ACFTA with creative development and production execution for numerous amounts of deliverables. This involved traveling to every corner of the state over the course of 2 months to shoot and edit introduction vignettes for the nominees and winners. As well as display assets for live event editing.

INSIGHT

The Arizona Citizens For The Arts needed to collaborate with us for their upcoming award show to create a batch of introduction vignettes for winners and nominees. At this year's award show they would be introducing a whole new award. The Oonagh Award. Oonagh Boppart was a passionate leader in the arts community. Starting in 2023, they dedicated the longtime advocate with a namesake award alongside other established annual awards like The Governors Award, Arts Champion Award and the Shelley Award.

APPROACH

To create the vignettes, we relied on the ACFTA team to coordinate with the winners, nominees, and others involved and we handled the creative approach which was a docu-style execution. We wanted to capture these candidates in their element as they explain their passion for the arts and walk us through their world.

THE CHALLENGE

Travel across the state of Arizona to execute and deliver numerous vignettes that are as polished as any mini-doc you’d catch on primetime TV so that the award show can maintain a professional look and a strict time limit.

CAPABILITIES UTILIZED

ACFTA was looking to collaborate with a strong group of creatives that could put together a bare bones production team to travel to every corner of the state and capture the raw grit of the award show’s winners and nominees. They relied heavily on us for creative input and overall approach. Ambient Skies recently won multiple Addy awards for their execution on this project.
