How We Get It Done

With decades of experience bringing stories to life throughout a wide variety of platforms, for clients large and small, we know a thing or two about the importance of process.

1 Creative Discovery

First and foremost, we are visual storytellers—filmmakers and artists who combine our talents to bring any brand mission, product, or narrative to life. To do that well, we always start with a “discovery session” to help us understand the story we’re trying to tell.

2 Creative Treatment

Once we have all the pertinent information, we build a creative brief—a blueprint for what we intend to create together. With your blessing (read: approval), we hand off the creative brief to our producers, writers, illustrators, and animators to use a north star throughout the entire process.

3 Scripts + Storyboards

After our creative team has their thoughts on paper, we present our scripts and storyboards. In most cases, we share a series of options to show you the range of ideas the creative brief was able to produce and work with you to narrow down the top pick.

4 Budget + Timeline

With an approved script and storyboard, our producers get to work putting the numbers together to make sure we’re creating the best possible work all while staying within your budget and time constraints.

5 Production

Here comes the fun part: production day! One thing you’ll notice when you’re on set with the Ambient Skies team is the level of professionalism we bring to any shoot. But that doesn’t mean we don’t like having a good time—we’ve established great working relationships with our local Arizona production crew so everything flows smoothly, and everyone has fun.

Post Production + Completion

Finally, we get to see everything come together: on-screen graphics, animation, voice-over, music, and final color correction all begin to fall into place as your video becomes a reality and we deliver assets based on your needs.
